GeetoTvam: A Journey of Cosmic Wisdom
Writing about something as profound as the Bhagavad Geeta is no easy task. This timeless scripture has traveled through centuries, transcended cultures, and still resonates in the hearts of people worldwide. Like a budding flower, it continues to bloom with each passing generation, offering new meaning and wisdom.
The Bhagavad Geeta is not just a text; it is an epic of science, mystery, wisdom, yoga, devotion, and karma. It provides profound insights into living in harmony and synchronicity with the universe. No wonder it is revered by people of all backgrounds—many of whom have no direct connection to Indian culture—because of its universal relevance.
The Geeta is often recognized for its teachings on management, meditation, and devotion. However, through this platform, I wish to approach it differently: by connecting its teachings with contemporary perspectives such as quantum theory and modern scientific paradigms.
In this blog, I will share ancient stories and fables from scriptures like the Upanishads and Puranas, but with a twist. Typically, these narratives are explained by a speaker while the seeker absorbs the wisdom. I intend to take this a step further by inviting you, the reader, to engage, explore, and connect the dots yourself.

I will present short stories and riddles—each offering a glimpse into the mystical wisdom of ancient Indian philosophy. These are not just tales to be read but gateways for introspection. Ponder over them, revisit them, and allow their essence to unfold in your mind. When you feel ready, share your insights with me. Together, we will embark on this journey, as Lord Krishna guided Arjuna: not by imposing, but by encouraging thoughtful questioning and genuine curiosity.
Let us begin this journey into the timeless wisdom of the Bhagavad Geeta.
Riddles of Cosmic Truth
Riddle 1
The Yoga Vasistha is one of the most historically significant texts on Indian philosophy, often dated to the 6th or 7th century. It narrates a spiritual discourse between Prince Rama and the sages Vasistha and Vishvamitra. The text explores profound concepts like Maya (illusion) and Brahman (ultimate reality), aligning closely with the principles of Advaita Vedanta.
One fascinating fable within the Yoga Vasistha is the story of Goddess Saraswati and Leela. Leela journeys across multiple realities, discovering her various incarnations—at one point as the wife of a Brahmin named Vasistha, and in another reality, as the queen of King Padma. With Saraswati’s guidance, Leela unravels the illusion of Samsara (the cycle of existence) and witnesses the true nature of reality.
Riddle 2
A beloved tale among Lord Krishna’s devotees recounts an extraordinary event from his childhood. While playing as a toddler, Krishna accidentally ate a lump of mud. His foster mother, Yashoda, scolded him and demanded he open his mouth. Reluctantly, Krishna complied, revealing not just the mud but the entirety of the universe within his tiny mouth—galaxies, stars, constellations, and beyond. This moment, both mystical and profound, symbolizes the infinite contained within the finite.
Riddle 3
When Adi Shankaracharya, the great proponent of Advaita Vedanta, was traveling across India, he encountered an 8-year-old child in a Karnataka village. Curious about the child’s identity, Shankaracharya asked who he was. The child responded with a profound verse that encapsulated the philosophy of oneness—seeing the cosmos as a singular reality.
Shankaracharya was so impressed by the child’s wisdom that he named him Hastamalaka, meaning “one who holds the world in his palm like an amla (gooseberry).” Hastamalaka went on to become one of Shankaracharya’s most illustrious disciples.
Riddle 4
“To see a World in a Grain of Sand
And a Heaven in a Wild Flower,
Hold Infinity in the palm of your hand
And Eternity in an hour.”
—William Blake (Auguries of Innocence)
Blake’s poetic vision aligns seamlessly with the ancient Indian philosophy of interconnectedness, where the infinite resides within the finite, and the cosmos reflects in the minutest particle.
The Pillars of Enlightenment
To me, these four stories and perspectives act as pillars of wisdom. They serve as guiding lights, igniting the flame of enlightenment in those who ponder them deeply and with an open heart.
These riddles are not just about stories—they are keys to a deeper understanding of the self and the cosmos. I urge you to dive into these cosmic mysteries, explore the profound truths they reveal, and let them take you to a realm of understanding that I call Quantum Unification.
